Kyla's Day

Happy Birthday, Kyla!
As your birthday came closer, I began to prepare, arranging to send your parents flowers, thinking of what you'd be doing as an (almost) 5 year old.
But I couldn't quite decide how to best celebrate your day...how to remember you.
then the perfect answer came-- Ryan and I were invited to a sealing.  Close family friends of ours had finalized an adoption, and those 4 children were being sealed to them.
I couldn't think of a better way to be closer to you.
Being in the temple was a wonderful reminder of how lucky we are to know we will see you again, someday.
We love you, dear girl!

the little things

Papa Judd's farm...showing London the ropes. Not much is more fun than feeding baby sheepies.
A sweet note I came across while cleaning a drawer... bittersweet. Grateful to be reminded of an eternal perspective.
One of his first smiles! Turner has such sweet, bashful little smiles. He looks so much like his daddy--
Games at Sunday dinner. One of my favorite traditions!
Bubbles with Penny girl. A perfect spring activity.
My first day back at the gym post-baby. and I survived.
Newborn moments... this really makes my heart happy.
Daddy and Turner enjoying an afternoon nap.
Sometimes I feel like the day to day grind can be exhausting. It sure helps to remember how much I love the little things. These little moments make up the majority of our lives :)

We love you Kyla

A year and a half ago, my little niece returned to Heaven...
She was such a fun, and stubborn little thing! I'm sure she is giving someone a run for their money :) Kyla would have been 3 today--
I sure do love and miss her.
I have this picture sitting on my nightstand, and every morning and night it reminds me that someone is already waiting for me...

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl
