the year you turn 60.
it should be a good one. filled with the wonderful memories and experiences of the first 60 years of your life. that's exactly what we tried to do for my dad-- start his 60th year off with a bang!
or rather, a surprise :)
Ronda and Devan flew in from Maui, we invited my dad's closest friends and family (he's not one for big soirees), made his favorite dessert, and topped it off with pictures from his life and a book of memories from his kids.
the man had tears in his eyes. what a softie :)
it was really fun to surprise him! i think it was the perfect way to show him how much we love and appreciate him.
it was so sweet of the Bowens and Jake to come. it's always great to see dad surrounded by his close friends.
John had just returned home from his mission in Brazil, and Ronda's surprise visit was icing on the cake!
Camden sure loves his Grandpa.
dad's mom (my grandma), and sister (Aunt Marie) also made it to the party-
my dad is such a wonderful man. he does so much for everyone else, so it was nice to dedicate the night to him.Happy Birthday Grandpa! (Just missing Jarom, Kayla, and Kyla)
i hope this year is as wonderful as the night was :)
This grey skirt you are wearing...I must have it. Where can I find?
