Viva Las Vegas

We were so lucky to be in Vegas for the MWC Basketball Tournament!
In addition to watching our COUGARS, we enjoyed our fair share of buffet dining...
and got completely exhausted shopping with Mama.

Nothing like college basketball.

Even better when it's BYU college basketball!

We've got Jimmer Fever over here!
It's seasons like this that really make me wish I was still cheering...
being in the stands sure is fun, but not as good as being in the action!
What a great season :)

Never too much fun

You can never really have too much fun.
I strongly believe in that statement.
Especially after a fun filled day for our last in AZ.
After exploring all the trains and their full glory, we had a small egg hunt for the kids.

They had a blast! Especially when it came time to show off their loot.

Camden didn't realize they were eggs, but he sure had fun finding the "balls" that were hidden all around...

High, Low, and everywhere in between.
After the egg hunt, we headed out to...another baseball game!
Our Arizona portion concluded with a night of games and merry-go-rounds.
We met all the cousins that currently live in Arizona, at Amazing Jake's (which is this awesome chuckie cheese/boondocks sort of place)

We rode all the rides... numerous times.Played laser tag. Go karts. Bumper cars. Train rides. and of course, ate.

Ryan and Scott even tried Dance Dance Revolution. And honestly, they were good.
It was a lot of fun for us to see all the cousins in Arizona!

Ticket to Ride (Day 4)

Our last morning in Arizona was spent at the train park--
Climbing on playgrounds.
Sliding down slides.
Spinning on carousels.
Riding on trains.

Playing in the sun.and spending time in jail.

There's no crying in baseball (Day 3.5)

After hanging with all the animals, we took on some entirely different animals...
Baseball fans.
There really is nothing better than spring training.
Super laid back atmosphere. Garlic fries. The warm sun on your back.
I wish Utah had a Major League team...
It will be interesting to see who Camden chooses to cheer for...his dad is a Ray's fan, and his Grandpa Judd, a die hard Cardinals fan. I'm surprised Grandpa Judd hasn't been trying to teach him how to say "Albert Pujols".
After the game, we headed to Old Town Scottsdale.
Camden got a chance to cool off.

We did some browsing through the tourist trap-esque stores, and ended up at this wonderful ice cream parlor!

Pink seats and everything! It was a perfect amount of girlie for me. We indulged in all sorts of goods...ice cream filled eclairs, ice cream/sorbet drinks, old fashioned sundaes, you name it, we tried it.

Later that night we took on mini golf.

Sadly, Ryan and I lost. Good thing Ryan is a better real golfer...he needs to work on his mini golf skills, I mean, c'mon, I was totally carrying the team.

Going to the Zoo (Day 3)

The ZOO!
Camden is quite knowledgeable in the sounds that animals make...he has them down pat!
My favorite is the pig noise-- he doesn't simply say "oink", he snorts.
He did think that every zebra, giraffe, and horse all said "nay"...but he has awhile to work on those. I mean, really, when do you actually learn the correct sound the giraffe makes? We met up with another cousin, Stephanie, and her 2 girls-- Brighton and Georgia.
Since Camden was showing off all his animal sounds the entire morning, we all felt a little left out.
So...we decided to actually imitate the animals, not just the sounds.
Rhinos (backside view)
Warthog (look closely to notice the tusks)
The monkey
Camel (the resemblance is uncanny)
The Flamingo
Camden was too small to ride on any animals, so we let him ride the stationary ones instead...

They had a really cool monkey exhibit-- You entereed a huge cage, and the monkeys roamed free. Camden loved it!

Last, but not least, the petting zoo--
You better believe we pet every. single. goat.
I have a feeling this is just the beginning of our zoo visits.
Sometimes our little toy poodle just doesn't do the trick--
