a little bit of everything

End of March looked a little like this...
Spring evenings watching sunsets from the RioT
Late night chit chats/ laundry folding sessions with this little man.
He is quite the attentive listener.
Anxiously waiting for daddy to come home from work, and running to the window after every car he hears to see if it is indeed him--
catching Jimmer in NBA action-- Jazz vs. Kings (Turner's first Jazz game!)
with the Harbies
Conference cuddling with baby Turner. and hearing exactly what I needed to hear--
It's not fair for a super hormonal woman to have to listen to extremely spiritual talks... I think Turner was bathed in my tears. Oh well! He'll get used to it--

Silly photo ops with my 2 boys.
Getting used to the idea that I now have children...plural. weird.

Keeping Camden entertained during some not so weather-friendly spring afternoons.

a day of pure fun

for Ronda and Devan's last day visiting the Mainland, our goal was to just have fun.
and fun we did have.
the day began with us enjoying a loverly brunch at The Dodo (their baked cream cheese is to. die. for). Camden tried quite the sour orange slice...
after brunch, we desperately needed to walk off some raspberry pancakes, and entertain the sugar high children, so we spent the afternoon at Liberty Park.
we went down slides, played the musical boards, and swung the day away.

and then Camden cooled off.

Camden sure loved having his little buddy Devan around.
he was always trying to give him hugs...this also caused me to explain to him that you can over love someone. lying on a 6 month old baby doesn't translate to love in his mind.

after the park and naps, we went to Mekong for some Thai.
Ronda was the first one to actually introduce me to Thai food. it was when i was 13, and let's just say that my taste in food has advanced, and now i love it!
to end the day, we went to the Real Salt Lake game.
Devan's first major sporting event. I think he's a fan :)

we hope our day of fun was enough to convince Ronda, Devan, and hopefully Doug to come back soon and visit.

bank friends and cotton candy

a beautiful night for a soccer game.
i love RSL games-- the atmosphere of die-hard fans, running into old friends, the sunset in the background, the delicious smell of candied nuts. wonderful.
seeing Tawnia makes me miss our girl time at the bank.
Tawnia, Stacy and I reviewed books, talked about dreams of houses, i learned that Tooele is not pronounced "toolie", we rocked out to some awesome music (Journey) and not so awesome music (Neil Diamond), we discussed fashion, purses, food, in-laws, and a few hopes and dreams in there.
girl time is essential. RSL games bring some of that...ironically, but i love it!

Viva Real

If it is a sunny, beautiful Saturday afternoon, you can usually find us working in our yard.
Oh wait, I think I am confusing us with someone else...
Warm weather gives us an excuse to watch soccer!!

We met up with my brother, niece, and nephew at the Real Salt Lake game!

My nephew Jarom is quite the soccer player himself...maybe one day we'll be sporting his jersey!

Fans for Life

Real Salt Lake had their season opener at home against the Seattle Sounders,
and as Avid Fans, we just had to go!

Camden loves Sporting Events! huh, I wonder where in the world he gets that?
